GVCA Project 1:
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Project Scope
To raise awarenesses of our Education & Training courses lineup to increase engagement and sign-ups.
Roles & Responsibilities
Each month, an email was sent out to the 'education' mail list through HubSpot. Each course was linked to its individual course registration landing page on the website.I was responsible for creating digital assets using Canva and Adobe Illustrator.In addition to the email sent out, I was responsible for creating and posting a social media post to promote the offered courses through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn platforms. The goal of these social media posts was to drive traffic to Grand Valley Construction Associations (GVCA) website using the link in the caption (link in bio via 'linktr.ee' for Instagram), and to encourage registration.
GVCA Project 2:
THE HUB
Project Scope
"THE HUB" is a weekly email sent to interested members of GVCA. The weekly email highlights the top 8 projects that are uploaded that week, to the electronic plansroom. Thousands of projects are posted yearly to the electronic plansroom. In addition, a promotional or informative message is included at the top of the email.
Roles & Responsibilities
I was responsible for creating the digital assets of the email using Adobe Illustrator along with creating the email through HubSpot. Additionally, I was responsible for creating the landing pages associated with each project that highlights key project details and a link to the project in the electronic plansroom.Different subject lines were used to test engagement and open rates along with featuring different types of projects to see which kinds of projects members were most interested in seeing. Member's responsiveness (clicks) were tracked and monitored using HubSpot analytics.After each weekly email was sent out, I was responsible for creating and publishing a post on social media which featured the top project of the email (the "feature project"). The social post was created to encourage members to join "THE HUB" email list and create an interest to purchase the electronic plansroom.
GVCA Project 3:
MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Project Scope
An e-newsletter was distributed monthly to inform 1000+ individuals of upcoming events and key pieces of information such as membership renewal and relevant news. GVCA's president gave a video message highlighting the key pieces of the newsletter which are broken down in the email below the video message.
Roles & Responsibilities
I was responsible for creating the newsletters digital assets using Canva and Adobe Illustrator along with creating the email using HubSpot. The segments of the newsletter were instructed by the President's desired messages. I was also responsible for editing the President's video message and embedding the video message into the email.Additional campaigns that I created and were sent out include emails informing members on: upcoming events, webinars, and membership renewals.
GVCA Social Media Branding
Project Scope
GVCA social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) were used as an information base for the local construction industry and inform users of all things GVCA. Different posts that were featured include:
Weekly project feature (in correlation with the weekly "HUB" email sent to members)
News updates: the latest construction news relevant to members
Education & Training courses
Events: promotion, recaps, and thanking sponsors
Reposting accomplishments of members (try to get people talking)
Additionally instagram stories were used for further engagement, information purposes, and reposting posts/stories.
Roles & Responsibilities
I was responsible for the creation, posting, and monitoring of all GVCA social platforms. Furthermore I tested different captions to increase the most engagement.
Keeping branding consistency was important which was done using company colours and logos within the posts along with keeping a constant voice within the captions.
